I’ve got so many announcements this month that I’ve lumped them all into this info-packed blog post. As you’ll soon read below, in the future these announcements will be shared in my new So Many Places Monthly Newsletter that launches in July. Sign up for my monthly updates before July 1, 2014 and you’ll be entered to win a $50 Amazon gift certificate!
Announcing the So Many Places Newsletter
I’m excited to announce the launch of the So Many Places Newsletter. The newsletter will be published once a month and, on special occasions, I’ll send out exciting news like book launches and speaking engagements whenever they pop up.
Here’s what you’ll find in my monthly newsletter:
– All big announcements will be shared in the newsletter first
– A roundup of my blog posts for the month and links to interviews, podcasts and guest posts I’ve done around the Internet
– Products, publications, speaking schedules and deals offered only in the newsletter
– Fun giveaways
It helps me out a lot to have you subscribed to my e-mail list and that’s why I’m giving away a $50 gift certificate to Amazon. Yep, one lucky winner who signs up to receive my newsletter before July 1, 2014 will be $50 richer just for signing up.
And don’t worry, if you’ve already signed up to receive the newsletter then you are already in the running to win. But please note that even if you are currently signed up to receive new blog posts you’ll still need to sign up for the newsletter in order to receive the newsletter and enter to win.
What are you waiting for? Sign up now! I’ll select a winner using a random number generator on July 1, 2014.
Introducing the Annapurna Circuit Hiking Guide
Brian, my counterpart (aka husband) over at Wandering Sasquatch, just launched his first hiking guide to help those of you planning (or dreaming of) trekking in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Brian and I walked the Annapurna Circuit last year and were frustrated with the lack of quality information on the Internet for people who were planning to trek. So Brian decided to fill in the information gap and create his new Annapurna Circuit Hiking Guide.
The guide gathers reader FAQ’s about cost, permits, routes, side trails, gear, safety and sanitary conditions and much, much more. It’s a comprehensive collection of all of the information needed to hike the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.
I’m available to speak at your next event
As an international traveler and adventurer, I love sharing stories about life on the road and inspiring others to dream big and push the boundaries of possibility within their own lives.
From walking the Camino de Santiago to driving a rickshaw through India to backpacking through the Himalayan Mountains, I’ve been fortunate enough to live a number of once-in-a-lifetime experiences. And I want to show others that their once-in-a-lifetime adventures are possible too. When I stand in front of a crowd I hope to leave audiences inspired to believe in their biggest dreams.
Where can I speak for you? Click here to learn more about my speaking engagements or to contact me about sharing my story with your audience.
It’s about to get personal…
During the month of June I will be working with Microsoft Devices on their #ExploreMore program to test out and use the new Lumia Icon for a month. Since the Icon has standout video capabilities I’ve decided to do a weekly video log and post it to my Facebook page where I’ll answer reader questions (please leave them in the comments below) and share little tidbits of our current life on the road as we travel the U.S.A. for 7 months and live out of a tent (or, now, a fancier tent on wheels).
So please- if you didn’t catch that- ask me anything (travel, writing, blogging, relationships, or whatever other creative questions you come up with) and I’ll answer as many as I can in my Facebook video segments. Make sure to follow my So Many Places Facebook Page if you want to catch the clips.
Thanks everyone! And, once again, make sure you sign up for the So Many Places Newsletter to enter to win a $50 Amazon gift certificate.
