Thank you for my amazing baby sister who turns 22-years old today and my equally amazing sister-in-law who turns 32.
Thank you for the family I was born to and the one I was given when I met Brian.
Thank you for this glorious afternoon weather, the crisp blue sky, the shining sun and the cool, blowing breeze. Today I feel the first hint of autumn creeping towards us.
Thank you for the gray days and the sunny ones, the sweatpants mornings and the dawns that draw me out of bed while the sky is slowly lightening.
Thank you for helping me learn to listen to my body. My run this morning turned into a walk and that’s okay. It really is okay. All those years I pushed myself to the very edge have softened into acceptance. I am grateful.
Life, thank you for never running out of things for me to be thankful for.
