Thank you for a new day, a new week to create newly.
Thank you for life and breath and aliveness.
Thank you for the sound of my Mom (Alice) sleeping peacefully in the next room. Thank you for whatever wonderful adventure we will create together today.

Thank you for this awareness, for the experience of gratitude. Thank you for freedom to choose.
Thank you for life teeming in my Mom’s garden– ladybugs, butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, birds, the neighborhood black and white cat.

Thank you for my beautiful family. Thank you for snuggling and purring and bad dog breath. Thank you for the peaceful oasis that is my home. Thank you for safety, which I never take for granted.
Thank you for challenges and growth and learning a little more about who I am every day. Thank you for my rewarding work, but also the breaks from it. Thank you for my wild imagination and big dreams. Thank you for heartbreak and for pure joy.
Thank you for my body, even when I complain about it. Thank you for the presence of yoga in my life.
Thank you for the ability to become completely engrossed in an amazing book.
Thank you for exhaustion, if only so I can truly appreciate the bliss of a deep sleep.
Thank you for kale and avocado and sweet potato and cold, clean water.
Thank you for love of every kind. Thank you for giving me such a beautiful life, even when I am dissatisfied with it, I know I’ve got it pretty damn good. I’m so looking forward to all the adventure I know you have in store for me!

Thank you for allowing me to wake up each morning.
Thank you for giving Abi and I the courage to completely change our lives 2 1/2 years ago, it’s been an amazing journey and we’ve never once looked back. With that being said, thank you in advance for helping me to live in the moment instead of always thinking 3 steps ahead of today.
Thank you for Kim – who’s been an endless source of support and friendship as I slogged my way through the world of blogging. I don’t think she really understands how much she has given me. And thank you for introducing me to Talon and the blogging community which I have grown very fond of – what a small world it really is.
Thank you for Good Earth decaf tea and the sun under which I brew the tea; the tea that gets me through the hot summer months. And thank you for soy iced sweet chai lattes, of which I should not drink quite so many.
Thank you for bringing the love of his life to my son, thank you for their upcoming wedding nuptials and thank you for letting me know that his heart will be full and he will be loved.
Thank you for this amazing man I have shared the past 34 years with and with whom I eagerly look forward to the next chapter.
Oh… and thank you for beaches, mountain lakes and for chocolate… and, margaritas (and Sangria).
